F08 means the washer could not raise water temperature as expected—on Duet models the tub must pass 86°F within the first 40 minutes of a heated cycle. The heater circuit or element is not delivering heat the control board can verify.

  • Loose wire at the heater terminal block behind the rear panel
  • No hot water supply to the hot inlet valve
  • Heater relay on the main control board not energizing
