Motor control processor fault
What this error means
F7 means the Motor Control Unit detected an internal processor fault. The drive system stops and the drum will not agitate or spin until the MCU resets or is replaced.
Common causes
- Power surge damaging the MCU processor
- Loose MS2 harness between CCU and MCU at the top rear
- Moisture on the MCU from a prior inlet leak
- Failed MCU EEPROM or drive processor
