Pressure switch stuck during drain
What this error means
F4 appears when the pressure switch does not release during the drain portion of a cycle. The CCU still sees tub water when the drain pump should have emptied the drum.
Common causes
- Clogged drain pump filter slowing extraction
- Kinked drain hose behind the washer
- Pressure hose disconnected at the tub dome
- Failed drain pump not moving water

- 1Open the lower front access panel and twist out the pump clean-out filter
- 2Straighten the drain hose and confirm the standpipe drains freely
- 3Verify the pressure hose is firmly seated at the tub air dome
- 4Run Spin/Drain and watch whether water exits the emergency hose
